The Winter is the 11th bonus level and the 35th level overall. This is the 2017 Christmas bonus level. This is the bonus of Varying Christmas. The main theme of this level is Christmas Winter.

Event[]
When this level was released, it came with a "Winter Gifting" program, which included 15 snowflake boxes being placed around this level to accumulate gifts. The tenth one was the most challenging, since you needed to seek it as a mystery box in Cube or some other levels. As of update 1.7.2 (released on 22 Jan 2018), a player that accumulated the gifts will be awarded rewards, such as infinite balls. At the same day, the offer is expired and is no longer available. You may refer to the video below for details.
The percentages where the boxes were located were at 8%, 14%, 24%, 30%, 34%, 38%, 46%, 48%, 71%, 75%, 77%, 89%, 94%, 95%, and 97%.
Update[]
The level was placed between Hoop Dream and Clown Park and was free when it was released. On October 25, 2018, this level was moved to the Christmas Collection Levels, but was moved back to the Level Menu on September 1, 2023. There are two ways to unlock this level permanently.
- Pay 60 gems, which need real money to buy them.
- Watch a video ad to unlock temporarily, then reach 100% of the level to unlock permanently for free.
Trivia[]
- This is the last level released in 2017.
- This is the easiest Christmas-themed level in the game, and the only 1-star one.
- This level's title is the same as a level in Dancing Line. However, the music is not the same. Also, this level is Christmas-related, but the one in Dancing Line isn't.
- This is the only level to share its name with a Dancing Line level, but not the music itself.
- This is the second Christmas-themed level to not remix Jingle Bells, and the only one whose music is not remixed from a classic Christmas song.
- In turn, it is remixed from a classic Beethoven song, Ode to Joy.
- This level and Varying Christmas have the exact same theme sequence. The percentage the themes change to are different however.
- Block Snakes from E-labyrinth can be seen at 29%, but they serve as decoration instead of obstacles.
- This is the only Christmas level, the first bonus level, and the last level in 2017 to have them.
- Unlike Varying Christmas, you can jump straight with Short Jumps (even getting Diamonds).
- This level's cover has the Snowball
instead of the Normal Character. - At 94%, you can see a heart shape made of out Normal Jumps and Tiles. Other levels with this are Birthday Party and Auspicious Jade Rabbit.
- This is the easiest level to have diagonal tiles. However, they aren't required if you aren't getting every diamond.
- This is the first Christmas bonus level, the others being Christmas Gospel, Aurora Tour and Snowy Night.
- This is the easiest and first level in the level order to not be free.
- It is also the first to be unlocked by Gems in the level order.
- This could be a dangerous move from Cheetah Mobile/Minimax, as new players could think future locked levels would require to be unlocked with gems, an exclusive currency only earned by purchasing it with real-world money, while it’s not true, as while special levels are unlocked with gems, the rest are unlocked with keys, except for Happy Birthday and The 4th Anniversary.
- It is also the first to be unlocked by Gems in the level order.
- Just like its main level, Varying Christmas, this level starts and ends in Christmas Winter.
- This is the first level including the prefix "The" in the name. The later ones are The Chaos, The Sea, The Spectre (Removed), The Spectre Remix (Removed), The 4th Anniversary, The Eye of Horus, The Breezy Summer, The Day of the Dead, The Shadow Warrior, The Frozen Winter and The Basketball.
- This level isn't related to The Frozen Winter, despite the name. However, both of them use Big Jump.
